Marzieh, an old Iranian singer, whose original name was Khadijeh Ashraf al-Sadat Mortezaei, was born in Tehran on March 21, 1924. She started her artistic activity in 1942 and gained fame by attending Khosrow and Shirin Theater. She has performed five double bass songs during her career. Marzieh left Iran in 1994 and joined the Mojahedin Khalq Organization and sixteen years later, in 2010 died in Paris
