Fereydooun Farrokh Zad, an Iranian artist, was born on October 5, 1938 in Tehran. In addition to composing, songwriting, poetry and singing, he also worked in the field of programming and television and radio editing. Farrokh Zad was one of the critics of the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran and was killed at his home in Bonn, Germany on August 6, 1992 by a knife.
