Fereydoun Foroughi, was a prominent Iranian singer, songwriter and composer who worked in various styles including blues. He entered the world of music at the age of 16, along with several other musicians. Foroughi sang the two songs for Adamak's film In 1971, seriously stepping into the official arena of Iranian music. One of his most enduring works called Yar-e Dabestani that was sang for the film named Faryad Ta Terror. Fereydoun Foroughi died on October 3, 2001 in Tehran .
