Essayist, director, and artist Mehran Modiri had an unrecorded music show at Tehran’s Milad Tower on August 22nd.
Mehran Modiri was born on April 7, 1967, in Tehran, Iran. He is the last child of his parents and has three older siblings. However, he hasn’t talked about his family. 50 years old Mehran Modiri is already married but did not reveal any information about his wife. His wife is a graduate of art and literature. She is a housewife and writes for herself and has never worried about publishing her writings. He chose the name of Farhad for their son, and after that Mehran Modiri used this name in his TV characters. They have also a daughter, her name is Shahrzad Modiri and she also is a graduate of art and literature.
Farhad Modiri is graduate and he is the musical supervisor and director of his dad’s multiple series.
Amid his high school years, Mehran Modiri started his artistic career and acted in the local plays. What’s more, in the mid-1990s, he began working in radio and TV. He wrote scripts and took an interest in different comedy productions broadcasted by Iranian Television.
He proceeded with his acting profession and appeared in television comedies. Be that as it may, Meheran got genuine fame with his making of Pavarchin, for which he won several awards for his directing and starring.
The director has had a cassette with Behrooz Gharibpour for children and an album released in 2000. Except for these, in 1996 he has sung in the legend of Aref Lorestani and has sung nine times for the final titles of the films and TV series; of course, collections that were more than his own works.
He further achieved success after he directed and starred in Noghtechin (Ellipsis), and Jayezeye Bozorg. The story of Jayezeye Bozorg centers around Bijan Jamali (Mehran Modiri), his cousin Mahmoud (Siamak Ansari), and his brother-in-law Morad (Javad Razavian). Morad is a smooth-talking con artist who is constantly getting himself and the others into jail. Bijan works at a pizza place where his boss Mr. Sa’adati (Saeid Pirdoost) is trying to get him to marry his daughter Mahnaz. When Bijan wins a brand-new Mercedes Benz in a sweepstakes at his bank, it seems like all of their problems are over, but that all changes when Bijan meets Kambiz (Reza Shafiei Jam), and hilarity ensues.
As a successful and well-known director, writer, and actor Mehran Modiri has always been able to attract a lot of audiences in satire programs, but there is not much experience in the field of singing.
Now, he has started to hold music concerts in Iran, which have been welcomed by audiences. The latest Iranian music concert was held in Milad Tower, which is best known as the Tehran Tower. The tower is a part of the International Trade and Convention Center of Tehran, which also includes a five-star hotel, a convention center, and a world trade center.
He started the concert with the song “Night of Mahtab” and later “Shah Sanam”. He thanked the director of the Milad Tower to support his benevolent movement, and later sang “Soghati” from an old Iranian singer.
For many years, the director has been interested in art as well as in the field of cinema and held some concerts a few years ago. He released the album “Simply” with music by “Babak Bayat” and “Fardin Khalatbari” in 2000, which resulted in several concert performances.
He also collaborated with the “Darqoub” group and released an album with Hamed Behdad headed by Homayoun Nasiri in the year of 2010 in the name of Darqoub.
In the Milad concert of Mehran Modiri, Nima Hamidi (the musicians), Jabir Khodayari (percussionist), Babak Riahipipour (guitar player), Massoud Homayouni (electric guitar player), Saman Ehtashami (pianist) and Sasan Hashemi (keyboard player) collaborated with him. Also, a lot of well-known actresses, artist, and writers have participated in the concert.
His concert in the Milad Tower was so well received by the public that he promised to do it again. He left a remarkable night in Iranian art, especially this time in the field of Iranian music. The lovely face of the television program and successful director has become one of the influential figures in Iran, bringing joy and pleasure to the people of Iran with his art and soul.
